15. & 20. Vernasca Silver Flag - Historic Hillclimb
Silver Flag hillclimb was one of the highlight in the season of 2015/2016. It is a hillclimb at Castell´ Arquato about 30 miles from Piacenza/Italy. abarth-germany took part in this event for three times since 2002. This historic hillclimb is for sure the Mille-Miglia of hillclimbing in Italy. The cars taking part are phantastic.

More than 150 cars took part in the event. This year`s theme was ABARTH - About 65 ABARTH cars stormed up the 10 km track - You could see the 595 esseesse as well as the 3000 ccm Sport-Prototyp - Simply all ABARTH cars, that wrote history in the 60`s could be admired - The collectors Moell, Pont and Aumüller showed parts of their collection and a lot of ABARTH enthusiasts all over Europe brought their cars to Italy.

CLASSIC DAYS - Trips Memorial - Schloss Dyck

One of the greatest events in Germany have been the "classic days 2008" , when racing legends met at the course of Schloss Dyck: Racing history pure and legendary cars.

Very soon the ABARTH`s of Klaus Kleber and Dr. Norbert Gelleschun became the spectators favorites. Both racing fast but save without any risk for the spectators ................so the opinion of the press reports
Le mans start: The ABARTH-SIMCA 1300 of abarth-germany.de starting as the last in line - the smallest car to be supposed the slowest car - passing all other cars - overtaking all other cars - laping half of the compitators - and finishing on 1. place in the two racing grids

LE MANS Classic 2002 21. - 22. September 2002
"The classic car celebration"
In 2002 there was a unique event: The first LE MANS Classic revived within a weekend on the long cicuit the whole vitage car world at the 24 Hours of Le Mans time.
Starting: Saturday 22.September 2002
at 4 p.m.
Ending: Sunday 23.September 2002 at 4 p.m.
The competition with 300 cars - or the same model, which have as common feature their participation in ther 24 Hours of Le Mans between 1923 and 1975. The grid has been selected up to June 2002.
Eligible ABARTH types have been:
Abarth Porsche Corsa (1960)
700 S (1960, 1961 und 1962)
850 S (1960 und 1961)
700 Spyder (1961)
1300 Abarth Simca (1962)
850 TC (1963)
1000 P (1963)
1300 OT (1967)
1000 Spyder (1969)
ABARTH & C. was always present at Le Mans with its works racing team or technical support for other teams, for example the "Equipe National Belge".
Car manufactures and Clubs parade, Concours d´etat and COYS Auction and a high class grid: 60.000 spectators have not been disappointed at LE MANS Classic 2002
abarth-germany.de was invited to take part at the LE MANS Classic 2002. A team of drivers raced exactly that ABARTH SIMCA 1300, which had started in 1962 for the "Equipe National Belge". In 1962 the starting number 43 was driven by Claude Dubois and George Harris. They finished on 1st place in the class up to 1300 ccm and on place 14 overall. In 2002 the car, supposed to be his car, was driven with the starting number 20 by Jochen Beck, Jürgen Bode and Norbert Gelleschun for abarth-germany.de. We finished on second place in the class up to 1300 ccm. Claude Dubois was present to see this car again. He delivered his congratulations and signed the car.
